I hail from the Loire Valley in France and graduated as a winemaking engineer in 1994. Shortly after, I moved to Tokaj-Hegyalja for a few months to gain practical experience. There, I met my husband, Zsolt, who was working in viticulture, and thus began our shared journey. We named our winery “Kikelet” ( ~hatching or blossoming), symbolizing the explosion of spring and rebirth for us. Our winery is located in Tokaj-Hegyalja, in the heart of the former market town of Tarcal. Historical records have long recognized the Tarcal area as an exceptional vineyard region. We are fortunate to cultivate nearly 7 hectares here. Working in Tokaj is a true privilege for us, allowing us to produce our wines in close harmony with nature.
