Thummerer Winery and Wine Estate

Our family business has been involved in grape growing and winemaking since 1984. We produce our wines, sparkling wines, and pálinkas from the harvest of our 100 hectares of vineyards planted by ourselves located in the Eger wine region. We harvest from excellent vineyard sites such as Nagy-Eged, Mezei-Öreg, Áfrika, Vidra, Mészhegy in Eger, Tekenőhát, Kőkötő, Csókás in Noszvaj, Juhszalagos in Novaj, and Nagyvölgy-tető in Szomolya. Our estate features a wide range of grape varieties, including Királyleányka, Chardonnay, Ottonel muskotály, Tramini, Zenit, Kékfrankos, Cabernet sauvignon, Cabernet franc, Merlot, Pinot noir, Syrah, Kadarka, and Turán. 80% of our vineyards are planted with black grapes and 20% with white grapes.
