The Szeremley family manages a 115-hectare vineyard located in the heart of the Balaton-Felvidék National Park. Our company, the First Hungarian Wine House – Szeremley Estate Ltd., is mainly known for its Hungarian specialties: the female flowered Kéknyelű can only be found here, which has been the pride of Badacsony for centuries, its pollinating partner, the Budai Zöld (once a famous variety of the Budai wine region, but now only grown in Badacsony), while our winery’s late harvest specialty, the Zeus, has become known worldwide for its freshness and minerality. Its sweet sibling, the late Harvested Italian Riesling, is known for its flavors reminiscent of citrus and tropical fruits. In addition to the Szürekbarát (pinot gris) and the special dry Muscat Ottonel, the blend of Riesling and Italian Riesling, called Szemelt Riesling, has proven to be very successful already in its first vintage.
