We have been practicing biodynamic agriculture since 2005, and in 2008, Pendits became the first certified organic estate in Tokaj-Hegyalja. Starting from the 2011 vintage, we also became the first winery in Hungary to receive Demeter International biodynamic certification. In our pest management, we only use natural substances (such as sulfur, copper, plant extracts, etc.) and biodynamic preparations. We do not use chemical fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides, or synthetic pesticides at all. We strive for our wines, whose quality originates in the vineyard and matures in the cellar, to reflect the essence of the wine region, vineyard plots, grape varieties, and vintage characteristics.
