“As a little girl, I wanted to be a painter, but life placed the burden of an entire winery on me at a young age. My father’s legacy was then 2 hectares of vineyards, a wine cellar, and his belief that our wine region was the birthplace of truly fantastic wines. But first, I had to learn everything… viticulture, winemaking. I had the privilege of learning from wonderful people, for whom I will always be grateful. Responsibility, guilt, and love have guided me over the past 20 years. Today, I cultivate 3.5 hectares in the finest vineyards along the shores of Lake Fertő. Slowly but surely, I too came to believe that everything needed to create magnificent wines was at my disposal. For me, this became my art.” – Enikő Luka
