Vesztergombi Winery

After graduating in viticulture & oenology from the Kecskemét College, Ferenc Vesztergombi honed his knowledge in other wine regions for a few years before returning home. He started winemaking the local state farm estate, the only available option at the time. With the transition to a market economy, opportunities opened up. Through privatization, the family regained 10 hectares of vineyards and a cellar on Kadarka Street. Based on these assets, he founded the family business in 1991, which continues to operate successfully to this day. “We believe we have holdings in the finest vineyards of the Szekszárd wine region.”
